After my “Awakening” to Consciousness and Being, sure enough, shortly enough, something happened that “freaked me out.”
It gave me a panic attack or heart attack. That sensation of fear came back. I froze.
I had difficulty breathing…
For a few minutes, I could see myself going out of control.
My initial reaction was: Whaaaaat?
But wait… what is this?
Before, I would let this external news just carry me away in a rather out of control state of shock, worry and fear.
But this time, I “remembered.”
I took a few moments to catch my breath, close my eyes, and try to connect to that “Awakening” moment I had recently.
Then, it hit me.
This is an external circumstance trying to “test” me or experiment with me, or a learning lesson to see how I can handle and to see if I’m really Awakened or not!
To be in the present now, connect with inner peace and loving energy, and detach myself for a moment from this one particular incident, external event or life situation, that is temporary.
OMG this is what all the Master teachers I’m learning right now were talking about.
–Buddha would say “You are suffering and feeling pain, because you had an attachment to a particular outcome. Detach yourself, let go and observe the flow of nature.”
-Eckhart Tolle would say “You’re not in the Present Moment, your mind is taking you to the future, running down the worse case scenarios one by one, which are not true, in this Now.”
-Vadim Zeland would say “You’re swayed by the influence of pendulums, that is trying to get your energy. Ignore them and it will go away or a solution will arise. Reduce or drop the importance.”
-Abraham Hicks would say “You’re off, you’re not who you are (pure positive energy), and you are resisting. Let go, trust the universe and allow. All is well.”
But even whilst trying to remember all of these teachings, in that moment, it’s hard to “remember” them.
Eventually, taking a hot shower, soothing with candles, having a cup of tea, and re-visiting all the teachings from these masters helped me be “Awakened” again.
Or to be “Conscious” again – remembering that we are a eternal soul or positive energy field, temporary in this physical body and mind…knowing this does not seem to be enough, if I’m “freaked out” by external situations… how can I always or more frequently be “Conscious?”
The question remains unanswered, and I realize I have a lot to still learn and practice.
The key when freaking out, when life situations throw you off: “Remember” and “Re-Awaken”
